The app in three lengths
Short, 37 words
Parendi is a personal finance app for the Mac. It reads the statements you export from your bank, sorts every transaction into a category and does the arithmetic on your machine: no cloud, no account, no subscription.
Medium, 71 words
Parendi is a personal finance app for the Mac. The file from your online banking goes in as camt.053, CSV or an Excel sheet, the transactions sort themselves into categories, and out come your savings rate, spending, fixed costs, net worth and FIRE number. Apple Intelligence does the sorting on the device. There is no bank connection, no account and no subscription: the data stays in a file on your Mac.
Long, 146 words
Parendi is a personal finance app for the Mac, and it grew out of a spreadsheet that had got too big over the years. Statements come out of online banking as camt.053, CSV or Excel, the transactions sort themselves into categories, and the numbers are there straight away: savings rate, spending per category, fixed costs, net worth and the FIRE number. Credit cards are counted once rather than twice, because the app recognises the payment of the card bill as a transfer. Category suggestions run through Apple Intelligence on the device, and the import works without it. The app ships without the network entitlement, which leaves it no way out at all: bank connections, accounts and cloud storage simply do not appear in it, and there are no credentials for anyone to lose. Templates and formats cover Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany and Austria, in francs or euros.
The facts
- Price CHF 30 once, EUR 34.99 in Germany and Austria. The app downloads for free and one in-app purchase unlocks it. No subscription, no ads.
- Trial 30 days from the first import, extendable once by another 30. After that the app stays readable instead of locking itself.
- Requirements macOS 26 or later. Category suggestions need Apple Intelligence; the import and every calculation work without it.
- App Store apps.apple.com/app/id6806927472
- Developer Missaq Ataschi, working alone, in Solothurn, Switzerland.
- Languages German and English, following the system language.
- Data None collected, no account, no analytics, no network connection. What you import stays in a file on your Mac. parendi.app/en/privacy
- Formats camt.053 with no mapping at all, plus CSV and Excel with one mapping per header row, which the app remembers.
- Regions Switzerland and Liechtenstein in francs, Germany and Austria in euros, each with its own category and pension templates.
A copy to try
The 30 days only start with the first import, so a look around the app costs nothing but the download. For a longer look, or to write about the purchase itself, there is an offer code that unlocks the full version for good. A mail is enough, and nothing is expected in return.
The files, one by one
If the archive is more than you need. The icon is square and full bleed, the way macOS masks it; the screenshots are the store ones, unchanged.

Using them
Use the pictures as they are or crop them, in print and online. The icon keeps its shape and its colour and should not be rebuilt as a wordmark, because there is none beyond the plain word Parendi. The name is Parendi, with nothing after it and no capitals.
