That is a property of the app rather than a promise: it knows no server it could send anything to. Below is the same thing again, in the language authorities and stores ask for.
No account
You sign in nowhere. There is no user ID, because there is nobody to issue one.
No analytics
Neither app nor website measures what you do. Not anonymously either, and not for improvement.
No bank connection
The app never has your credentials and never talks to your bank. You export, it reads.

In short
Parendi collects no data. Neither the app nor this website sends anything to us or to third parties. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics tooling, no cookies and no advertising.
The app
Everything you import or enter (transactions, categories, accounts, assets, settings) lives in a database file on your Mac. It leaves your machine only when you make it: through the backup to a location you choose, or through the clipboard.
Automatic categorisation uses Apple Intelligence on the device, where it is available. Processing happens on your Mac; we receive nothing from it.
The app knows no server, so it doesn't check for updates itself and reports no crashes. What Apple learns through the Mac App Store (purchase, installation, system diagnostics if you allowed them in macOS) is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
When an import fails
If an import fails on a file, the message offers to send that file to the developer. This is the only way data of yours can reach us, and it works like this:
- The app opens a new message in your mail program with the file attached. You send it, not the app. You can read it, trim it or throw it away first.
- You choose between a redacted copy and the original. In the copy, account and card numbers are replaced with X, amounts are altered, free text is cut to three characters and at most 20 rows remain; the header and structure stay, because that is usually where the fault sits. The original contains your statement unchanged, with names, IBANs, balances and counterparties. The message in the app tells you this before you send.
- We use a submitted file only to fix the import for that format, and delete it afterwards. We don't pass it on.
This website
It consists of static pages. One small script fades sections in as you scroll; it runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere. It sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties and measures no visits. The provider serving the pages sees the technical connection data any web server sees (IP address, time, requested page); we don't evaluate it.
Your rights
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing here to correct or delete. If you have sent us a file and want it deleted right away, write to [email protected] and we will confirm the deletion.
